Muthyala Maduvu - Pearl Valley

Muthyala Maduvu are so called Pearly Valley its around 40km from Bangalore, 90 minutes drive, when you reach the village through which you go to bannerghatta instead of going straight take left you reach annekal, pearl valley is around 5km from Annekal going straight you get a market take a right turn, keep a eye on small board which directs you to pearl valley.

Very first don't keep high expectations - Best time to go would be soon after monsoon you can even go any other time as long there is water, i have been there couple of times, it was huge fun the first time when the fall was on a high, this is one place where you can get into water and stand just below falls and believe me its amazing experience, if there is not much water you can climb up the rocks against the falls :-).

Very front of the falls you have a small hill, you can always trek to the top the hill.

Overall one of the good weekend getaways from Bangalore.

Note - Its not the best place for couples, its very risky, you can see lot of people sitting and drinking out there, so big no if you want to go out with ur gal.

Food - there is one KSTDC restaurant, the food is not great but that's the only stuff you get there and you will not get anything near by, so just go for it, don't Cary any snacks when you actually go down the stairs before reaching the falls, you can see lot of monkeys just waiting for you :-).
